Terms of service

The agreement between you and AppExit when you use this site or order from us.

Last updated November 3, 2026

1. About these terms

AppExit is a product of Kode Agency LLC. In these terms, “AppExit”, “we” and “us” mean Kode Agency LLC, trading as AppExit, and “you” means the person or business using this site or ordering from us. By placing an order, requesting a quote, or using your AppExit dashboard, you agree to these terms, our Refund policy and our Privacy policy.

2. Our services

We move web apps built on AI app builders to hosting you choose. Our services are:

  • Basic web migration: a flat $199 per web app built on Base44, Lovable, Bolt.new, Replit or Emergent, covering its code and database, deployed to one compatible host.
  • Rebuilds: Bubble and Glide apps, quoted individually.
  • AI builder workspace: an optional $149 add-on.
  • Mobile app migrations: quoted individually.
  • AppExit Managed Hosting: monthly hosting for your migrated app.

Exactly what each service includes, and what it doesn’t, is set out on our Scope & payment page, which forms part of these terms.

3. Your responsibilities

  • You must own the app you ask us to move, or be authorized by its owner to have it moved.
  • The information you give us must be accurate, and you must give us the access we need to do the work.
  • You’re responsible for your accounts with other providers, such as your app builder, hosting, domain and OpenRouter, and for following their terms.
  • Only share passwords, keys and other secrets through the secure notes in your dashboard, never in forms or email.
  • Your app and its content must be lawful, and you must have the rights to the data in it.

4. Scope and changes

We agree the scope of the work with you before we start. If we find that your app needs work beyond what you paid for, we tell you before starting and quote the extra work. You only pay for it if you approve it; otherwise you can cancel for a full refund. New features, redesigns and fixes for problems that existed before the move aren’t included unless we’ve quoted and you’ve approved them.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars. Fixed-price migrations and add-ons are paid by card at checkout. Quoted work, such as a rebuild, is paid once you’ve approved the quote. Card payments are processed by Square. AppExit Managed Hosting is billed monthly from the day your app goes live on our hosting, using the card Square keeps on file. Costs from other providers, such as your own hosting, domain or OpenRouter usage, are paid directly to them.

6. Refunds

You can get a full refund until we start your migration. Once it has started, we don’t give refunds. Our Refund policy explains when a migration starts and how to ask for a refund.

7. Managed hosting

If you choose AppExit Managed Hosting, we run the hosting environment for your app. You can cancel at any time by messaging us; we stop billing you from the next month and help you move your app to another host if you want to. Your code and data remain yours.

8. Ownership

Your app, its code and its data remain yours. We don’t claim any ownership of them. You give us permission to access, copy and change them only as needed to provide the services you ordered. This site, our reliability report and our other content belong to us.

9. Access and security

We ask only for the access we need, and we keep what you share confidential. Secure notes are encrypted and deleted when your migration is completed. At handoff, we tell you which access you can now revoke and which is still needed for any ongoing service, such as managed hosting.

10. Other providers

AppExit is independent and isn’t affiliated with Base44, Lovable, Bolt.new, Replit, Emergent, Bubble, Glide or any hosting provider. Those providers can change their products, prices, export options and policies at any time. We’re not responsible for their services, outages or changes, or for what they allow you to export.

11. Our work

We do the work with reasonable care and skill, and we check the core workflows we’ve agreed with you. The basic migration includes one round of fixes for problems the migration introduced. Apart from that, and as far as the law allows, our services are provided without other warranties. Keep your own backups of your app and data before and during the move.

12. Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost revenue or lost business, or for losses caused by other providers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

13. Declining or cancelling an order

We may decline an order before we start, for example if we can’t verify that you’re authorized to move the app, or if the move isn’t technically possible. If we do, we refund you in full. You can cancel your order at any time, as set out in our Refund policy.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the date at the top shows when they last changed. The terms in place when you placed an order apply to that order.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these terms or our services will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Alabama, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. If you’re a consumer, this doesn’t take away any protection you have under the laws where you live.
