Map your tables and rules
We record where each table lives, what your computed columns do, who can see what, and which automations run.
Glide is a no-code platform, so there’s no conventional codebase to export. The good news is that your data is often the easy part, especially if it already lives in a spreadsheet or database you control.
Where each table lives makes the biggest difference. Glide can run on its own tables or on connected sources such as Google Sheets, Airtable, Excel and SQL databases, depending on your plan.
Many Glide apps are small, focused tools, which can make a rebuild simpler than it sounds. It still needs to earn its cost.
Glide Tables exports leave out empty columns and computed columns that link to other tables. Those relationships are often where your business rules live, so we document them before exporting.
If you’re hitting a limit, confirm a plan change or a different data source won’t fix it first. Glide’s spreadsheet-type sources are capped at 25,000 rows across a team, and Big Tables exist for higher scale.
A Glide replacement doesn’t need a heavy architecture. We look for the simplest stack that does the job, so you don’t swap a platform limit for a system that’s hard to run.
This is how we expect a rebuild to run once we support this platform. You’ll see the findings and approve the scope and quote before paying anything.
We record where each table lives, what your computed columns do, who can see what, and which automations run.
We agree what the replacement needs to do and what can be left behind, on a host you choose.
Screens and logic are built in code you own, and your data is imported into a proper database and verified.
We test the core workflows, take a final export, and move people across when you’re ready.
No, there’s no conventional codebase to export, so the screens and logic have to be rebuilt. Your data can be exported, and if it’s in a connected source, it’s already outside Glide.
The $199 migration moves an app’s existing code and database. With Glide there’s no code to move, so the work is a rebuild, and that’s quoted once we’ve reviewed your app. See how pricing works.
Yes, your records are already somewhere you control. We’d still review columns computed inside Glide, because that logic doesn’t live in your sheet, and we’d look at whether a real database should replace the spreadsheet.
We agree what has to carry over during scoping, so you’ll know before paying. A custom build can go beyond what Glide offers, but you also take on hosting and maintenance. See third-party costs.
Vendor documentation checked November 2026. Plans and export paths can change, and every app gets its own review. AppExit is not affiliated with Glide. Brand names belong to their owners.
Tell us what your app does and what you’ve outgrown. We’ll tell you whether a rebuild makes sense before you pay anything.
